Embedded Software Engineer – AUTOSAR MCAL (Danang Relocation Package 90-100M)
Job Overview
We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to develop AUTOSAR MCAL drivers for multiple microcontroller families.
In this role, engineers will have the opportunity to be involved in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from SWE.2 (Software Architectural Design) to SWE.5 (Software Integration and Testing), gaining comprehensive exposure to automotive embedded software development in a structured and professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and optimize AUTOSAR MCAL drivers and Complex Device Drivers (CDD) using C for various microcontroller platforms
Analyze technical requirements and contribute to software architecture and detailed design for MCAL modules (SWE.2 / SWE.3)
Implement embedded software, perform debugging, and fix defects in compliance with automotive coding standards (SWE.4)
Design and implement unit tests and integration tests, including support for test automation (SWE.4 / SWE.5)
Participate in software integration activities and support root cause analysis during integration and testing phases (SWE.5)
Perform peer reviews of code, design documents, and test artifacts to ensure quality and compliance
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (QA, Testing, Architecture, Project Management) to ensure delivery quality and project milestones
Required Qualifications
2+ years of experience in embedded software development using C (for middle engineer and 5+ year of experience for senior engineer)
Strong experience in designing, developing, and testing firmware and low‑level drivers for embedded systems
Solid understanding of microcontroller architectures, especially ARM Cortex, and peripherals such as:
System, Memory, GPIO, Timers, ADC, PWM, and communication interfaces (SPI, UART, I2C, CAN, etc.)
Familiarity with AUTOSAR architecture, with hands‑on experience in the MCAL layer
Good English communication skills, especially in technical discussions
Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) and/or ISO 26262 environments
Knowledge of automotive coding standards such as MISRA C, HIS
Experience with UML modeling and design tools like Enterprise Architect (EA)
Hands‑on experience with unit testing frameworks and tools (e.g. LDRA, Tessy)
Experience with Assembly language, startup code, linker scripts, compiler options, and debugger scripts
Experience with board bring‑up or low‑level debugging is a strong advantage
