BCM/ELM ECU Software Engineer (AIS)

Responsibilities

Handle change requests from OEM, including Application updates and BSW configuration.

Analyze Software Requirements Specifications (SRS), clarify requirements through Q&A, and ensure requirement completeness.

Review Software Detailed Design (SDD) documents.

Develop and maintain embedded software in C language.

Perform Unit Testing, Functional Testing, and Integration Testing to validate software quality.

Manage test reports and participate in internal peer reviews as well as customer review sessions.

Follow Automotive software development processes, including V-Model and ASPICE.

Utilize and manage engineering tools for requirements, defect tracking, configuration management, and verification activities.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

4–5+ years of experience in Embedded Software Development, preferably in the Automotive domain.

Strong programming skills in C language.

Hands-on experience with CAN and CAN FD communication protocols.

Experience with UDS Diagnostics, Bootloader, and ECU Re-programming.

Familiarity with AUTOSAR component configuration and integration.

Knowledge of Automotive ECU electronics.

Experience with MCAL configuration (in-house MCAL is preferred).

Understanding of Software Architecture Design (SAD).

Experience with the following tools:

Requirements Management: IBM DOORS

Task & Defect Management: Jira

Configuration Management: Bitbucket

Test Design: Excel

Verification: vTestStudio

Knowledge of Automotive software development standards and processes (ASPICE, V-cycle).
