Azure DevOps & CODESYS Build Pipeline Consultant (Remote | 2-Month Contract)
Project Overview
We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps & CODESYS Build Pipeline Consultant to support the development and optimization of build pipelines within an Azure DevOps environment. The primary focus of this assignment is to establish and enhance automated build processes for CODESYS compilations, ensuring efficient and reliable software delivery workflows.
This is a short-term consulting engagement with an expected duration of 1-2 months. The consultant can work remotely, and location is not a critical factor.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and optimize Azure DevOps build pipelines for CODESYS projects.
Implement and improve CI/CD processes and automated build workflows.
Integrate CODESYS compilation and build activities into Azure DevOps-based software delivery pipelines.
Configure and manage YAML pipelines, build automation, artifacts, and build logs.
Collaborate with customer engineering teams to understand the current environment and deliver practical, scalable pipeline solutions.
Troubleshoot build issues and ensure stable and reliable automation processes.
Required Qualifications
Technical Requirements
6+ years of DevOps experience with strong expertise in build automation and CI/CD practices.
Hands-on experience with:
Azure DevOps Pipelines
YAML Pipeline Development
Build Automation
CI/CD Implementation
Practical knowledge of CODESYS development environments and automated compilation/build workflows.
Proven ability to integrate CODESYS build processes into Azure DevOps pipelines.
Experience with scripting and build tools, including:
PowerShell
Command-line tools
Artifact management
Build log analysis
Ability to work independently and engage directly with customer engineers to assess requirements and implement solutions.
Mandatory Requirement
Strong proficiency in CODESYS (hardware-independent IDE for industrial automation and PLC programming based on the IEC 61131-3 standard).
Language Requirement
Fluent English communication skills (both verbal and written).
